NATIONAL GUILD OF HYPNOSIS CERTIFICATION COURSES

National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc., (NGH) The National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc., (NGH) is a not-for-profit, educational corporation in the State of New Hampshire. Founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1951 the Guild is a professional organization comprised of dedicated individuals committed to advancing the field of hypnotism. NGH has over 6000 members, with over 70 local chapters world wide (NYC has a chapter with regular meetings). A growing percentage of members have academic credentials in other fields, including medicine, psychology, counseling and nursing. They provide an open forum for the free exchange of ideas concerning hypnotism. The Guild is a resource for members and a vehicle for legal and legislative action. They are best known for their yearly conference in New Hampshire where hundreds of hypnotherapists from all over the world teach and share information.

Core Curriculum The core curriculum at Tribeca Hypnosis & Healing Institute consists of four 2-day-weekend courses that when successfully completed provide the student with National Guild of Hypnotists Certification.
We offer these courses three times a year, sometimes spanning as little as four weeks, sometimes spaced out as much as eight weeks. The four courses are:

1) Basic Hypnosis Training ( Course Description )

2) Intermediate Hypnosis Training ( Course Description )

3) Master Hypnosis Training ( Course Description )

4) Advanced Practitioner Training ( Course Description )

Although it is possible to sign up for these courses individually as long as you have the prerequisites, nearly all our students sign up for them together to attain certification and to take advantage of the great saving of the courses combined.

Continuing Education Credits Once a person attains NGH Certification, they are required to take a certain amount of continuing education courses yearly to maintain their certification. Whether you received your NGH Certification elsewhere, or at Tribeca Hypnosis & Healing Institute, our courses of Neuro Linguist Programming, Reiki, Karuna Ki, HypnoChildbirth, Pain Relief Training, Family Constellations, and Past Life Regression are all accredited by NGH.

Our Students Our courses are filled with students interested in developing an alternative career as a hypnotist, reiki,or Neuro linguistic programing practitioner. Or sometimes people just want to add another tool from our nine very knowledgeable instructors with decades of experience in their practice to their already developed business. Maybe Past life Regression, Family Constellation work or Parts therapy in Hypnosis for smoking,pain or weight loss. Medical hypnosis to aid in Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Cancer, Hypertension, Headaches and many more diseases. How about hypnosis & childbirth Very often our students are nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, teachers, MD’s , yoga instructors, massage therapists, trainers and many people in other professional fields. Although there are no credentials required and anyone that is interested can join in. Some people just want to use the work for their own personal development, and that is certainly welcome also.

Our classes are small usually 8-15 people which gives each student an opportunity to participate and have the special attention of our very dedicated instructors. Each course includes a full manual of the study. There are always teacher demonstrations and student practice sessions so that each student leaves with experiences of the work. A certification is given at the end of each course. While our courses are short very often our students take multiple courses in the school opening up doors of opportunity to other organizations Sharing the information of the alternative healing studies with people that are jointly interested. In our 10 years since this school has begun many of our students have developed a successful practice.
